CNC Turner

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled CNC Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mazatrol experience for Turning on Mazak lathes,and preferably experience in milling as well.

Machines

Milling

2 x 5 axis Variaxis i600's one equipt with a 12 pallet station (Apply online only))

3 x VMC's ranging in sizes (Apply online only))

Turning

550M - 900mm dia x 3m long capacity lathe (2022)

350MY x 1.5m (2023)

4 x 250MSY - 3 with Hydrafeed bar feeds (Apply online only))

1 x 200 MSY with hydrafeed bar feed (2022)

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for turning. with a focus on maintaining high-quality work
• Programming using Mazatroland work on projects from start to finish within set timeframes
• Monitor and maintain multiple machines, ensuring efficient and accurate production
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
• Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC machining, with a focus on Mazatrol for Turning
• Proficiency in offline programming is preferred
• Ability to work on multiple machines and projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Proactive mindset with a strong work ethic

Day-to-day
Set up and operate CNC machines for turning and milling
Program and adjust machine settings as needed for different projects
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Package

• 15-18 dependent on experience and skill level - Salary options available
• 40 hours - 4 days (Mon-Thurs 7.30-18.00) or 4.5 days (Mon-Thurs 8-17.30, Fri 8-12.00) Can be slightly flexible on working hours
