Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines according to job specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct bends and angles
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and various tooling
- Ability to work with sheet metal, weld, assemble, and grind materials
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to fabricate parts accurately
- Experience in operating press brake machines is advantageous
