Approach Personnel are proud to be working with a reputable construction contractor who are seeking a Project Manager to join them based in the Lancashire area on a full time, permananet basis. This role supports the management and growth of residential developments.

Reporting directly to the Head of Development, the Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of the development process. This includes working closely with the in-house Construction division and external consultants, taking schemes through planning and acting as the client during the construction phase.

 

Day to Day:

  • Project Management: Oversee commercial development projects from feasibility and planning through to handover to the construction division.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work alongside internal teams and external specialists, including Utilities, Planning, Highways, Property, and Construction.
  • Design and Planning: Manage the design process, coordinating professional consultants such as architects, engineers, and planning specialists to ensure optimal development outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Navigate planning applications, permissions, and pre-start conditions, liaising with Local Authorities, and other governing bodies.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understand project budgets and financial drivers, making commercially sound decisions to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Contracts and Agreements: Manage Section Agreements, permitting processes, and legal requirements to keep projects compliant and on track.

 

About You:

  • Strong construction knowledge with the ability to oversee technical aspects of development projects.
  • Proven track record in project management within the property development or construction sector.

 

Package:

  • Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience
