My client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Burnley. They specialise in quality precision pressed components and are a leading supplier of engineering subcontract services across the UK. They are renowned in their field for excellent service. Their team are looking for a dedicated customer service assistant, who can develop accounts and gain new business with experience in social media and marketing.

The ideal candidate will bring a fresh approach to their social media presence and deliver excellent customer care through various channels, including; website, email and telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay- 26,000

Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday 08:30- 16:45
  • Friday 08:30-13:30

(36 hours p/w)

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive approach to customer requirements
  • Handling both incoming and outbound calls for customers
  • Assist with developing and maintaining their social media account
  • General marketing duties
  • Identify customer needs and expectations
  • Work closely with management to ensure orders are fulfilled on time
  • Assist with the day-to-day office duties

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organised and professional in manner
  • A desire to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Creative approach to determining problems and finding solutions
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • A keen eye for quality and enthusiasm to get the job done correctly
  • Good IT Skills including using excel
  • Ability to multi-task while navigating tight deadlines
  • Highly organised and enthusiastic
  • A team player

Qualifications Required:

  • English, Maths and ICT- GCSE or equivalent
