Job Description

- 1 week in 6 will be on call out on a rotational basis

What will I be doing?

You will be part of a reliability maintenance engineering team that will provide support to our onsite production environment.

You will be required to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and attend to machine breakdowns, applying fault-finding techniques.

You will also be required to attend to machine faults and breakdowns outside your core hours, shared on a team rotation.

You will work proactively and offer new initiatives to help resolve repeat machine failures.

You will report findings in a structured and professional manner to our customer.

Job Requirements

What you need from me?

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in Electrical Maintenance.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in Electrical maintenance with mechanical knowledge.
  • Capable of interpreting electrical schematic drawings.
  • Knowledge and application of Maintenance management systems (SAP).
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to fault-find logically.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance application.
  • Knowledge of CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) techniques.
