PMLD Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join the team at a lovely SEN school near Burnley. You will be supporting children in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individuals.

Position Details:

  • Location: Burnley
  • Position: PMLD TA
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
  • Type of work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only
  • Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
