PMLD TA - Burnley:

Prospero teaching are looking for experienced teaching assistants or support workers to join one of our schools near to Burnley. You will be supporting children with complex learning and medical needs.

Although experience working with special needs in a school is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for individuals. This role requires personal care.

Position Details:

  • Location: Burnley
  • Position: PMLD TA
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: After Feb half-term
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Any professional or personal experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
