PMLD Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs to join a school near to Burnley. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.

Although experience supporting special needs in a school setting is preferred, any professional or personal experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role, to nurture and care for the individuals. This position requires personal care.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent is desired
  • Qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
