Prospero Teaching are looking for a recent psychology graduate to join one of our schools in Burnley as a teaching assistant. You will be supporting children with complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in education.

Position Details:

  • Location: Burnley
  • Position: Psych Grad TA
  • Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri, During term time
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Feb 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

The Role:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Psychology degree is essential
  • Any personal or professional experience supporting children with complex needs

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
