The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our reliability maintenance engineering team. This is a hands-on role, providing support to our onsite production environment. If you have a background in electrical maintenance and an understanding/knowledge of PLC systems, we want to hear from you!

You will be involved in scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine faults, and providing fault diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on key equipment.
  • Attend and resolve machine breakdowns with effective fault-finding techniques.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to reduce machine failures.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to the customer and the team.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team, feeding information to engineers, UAP Leads, and Process Managers.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with machine breakdowns and fault diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems and fault-finding (actual PLC experience is a bonus).
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings.
  • Familiarity with reliability-centred maintenance and condition-based monitoring (CBM) techniques.
  • A personal vehicle for travel to other sites during on-call periods.
  • Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

  • CNC machines, automation, control systems, and heat treatment.
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, pressure vessels, compressors, vacuum pumps.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components like PLC I/O fault diagnostics.

Working Hours:

  • Standard day shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (12:30PM finish on Fridays).
  • 1-in-7 call-out rotation with 11 hours of downtime for callouts.
