Your new roleAs an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Team, responsible for maintaining high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery and site facilities. Your role will involve fault-finding during production, performing planned and predictive maintenance, assessing the need for spare parts, and undertaking various planned maintenance tasks, projects, and new installations. You will ensure resources are used optimally, comply with relevant legislation and company policies, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
What you'll need to succeedTo excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a similar environment with similar responsibilities.
- A good working knowledge of factory processes and technology.
- Familiarity with PLC AC drives, servo drives, CNC machines, conventional machines, and associated plants.
- Multi-skilled abilities in basic mechanical practices, with welding skills preferred.
- Foundry experience is desirable.
- A time-served engineer qualification or equivalent.
- A UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and good time management and communication skills.
