Sonic Summary

The position of Service Engineer offers a basic salary of £31,000 with an OTE of £35,000 - £40,000, including overtime paid at time and a half.
Candidates should have experience in servicing machinery, particularly with electrical wiring and 3 phase motors.
A background in FMCG and familiarity with PLC fault finding, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens, is preferred.
The role requires some form of electrical qualification and the ability to manage service tasks that may involve staying away from home for 2-3 nights.

The role

Multi-skilled – Electrical Bias
Electrical wiring
Experience of 3 phase motors
Mechanical understanding
PLC fault finding- Allen Bradley & Siemens
Experience of FMCG – Production Environment
Commissioning of new machinery Breakdowns, service & installation
International Travel minimal
Background in service, maintenance, workshop, technician
2/3 night staying away from home
Company are big on customer service, experience with dealing with clients
40 hour working week

Qualification & experience

Experience on machines of some description
Some form of qualification (electrical)
Ability to cover a service role with nights away
