Production Operative

Central Recruitment is working with a large Manufacturing Company in Altham, recruiting for Production/Machine Operators.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 6am - 6pm or 6pm -6am, this will require working weekends.

Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be required to run 2/3 machines. Duties will include:

• Machine Minding 2-3 Machines at one time
• Making sure the machine is running correctly
• Packing at the end of the machine
• Using a knife to trim as the product comes off the machine
• Reading paperwork
• Reporting faults to the quality department
• Keeping the work stations clean and tidy
• Following manual handling procedures

This is initially a temporary ad-hoc role, the weekly hours will be between 11.5 and 46. will include weekends. Days and Night shifts available.
