This will be done by creating, developing, and improving existing management information to support improving the understanding of non-financial managers and the key performance indicators effecting their business.The Finance Manager you will work closely with the Operations team and improve their understanding of the financial impact of decisions. Assisting them to make informed decisions that impact of the financial performance and the wider Group. The role will lead and oversee the delivery of effective Business Partnering within your team to support the relevant areas of the business, this is to ensure financial input into planning and execution of projects is completed.The role will lead the budget process, to ensure effective monitoring and reporting in this area so the business performs as per agreed expectations. While developing and improving existing operational finance systems and processes. This will be done by ensuring they are efficient, effective, and fit for purpose for the users and your customers. The Finance Manager is responsible for relevant Balance Sheets. Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and that all balance sheet account reconciliations are carried out in a timely manner with discrepancies being investigated and resolved you will give accurate information to all stakeholders, and we are operating within Group and legal requirementsYou and your team will support with providing assurance against all regulatory and legislative requirements including delivery of annual statutory accounts. This will include building solid relationships with our internal and external auditors to deliver strong internal controls ensuring the accuracy of our financial information. The Finance Manager and their team will ensure a Value for Money (VFM) culture is embedded and contributes to the strength of the Group. They will also deliver effective management of long-term projects; you will ensure that projects delivery on time and within budget and any variation to this is understood by the relevant managers.It is the responsibility of the Finance Manager to develop a team culture with high levels of employee engagement and motivation. This will ensure that our customers will receive the highest levels of service. The finance teams and customers are kept well-informed with timely financial information in relation to operations and the relevant implications.Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:To be considered you shall be formally qualified (ACA ACCA CIMA) and have experience operating at a senior level. With the skills and knowledge to enable the function you shall maintain a solid understanding of statutory accounting requirements in either practice or industry and have the skills to work closely with stakeholders as a true business partner. You shall be a strong communicator and able to partner with non-financial stakeholders across an organisation.
