Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Contract
Start Date: January 2025
Role Overview: As an EYFS Teacher you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children aged 3 to 5 years old. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning, helping each child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
- Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development at home and in school.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within the EYFS phase is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and improving educational practices.
