Our client, based in Burnley, is currently recruiting for a 2 x Repairs Inspectors on a 12-Month fixed term contract and a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for the role is £38,000 per annum, with a fuel reimbursement from your home address.

Please note that there are no complaints handling, specification creation, or major works responsibilities associated with this role, distinguishing it from a Building or Maintenance Surveying role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting day-to-day inspections to identify various maintenance issues, including damp, mould, and general repair concerns

  • Entering properties where the in-house repairs team is unable to diagnose issues, and providing initial diagnoses for the required repairs

  • Performing post-inspections to ensure that both internal and external contractors are meeting agreed-upon specifications

Experience required:

  • Experience carrying out maintenance inspections on domestic properties

  • Experience working within domestic Social Housing properties
