The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Head of IT or similar role, managing a budget and implementing IT strategy.

The Role:
* Develop, maintain and deliver Trust IT strategy and IT roadmaps
* Develop and manage the IT function and team to meet the needs of the trust in the most efficient and effective way (Software Development, Service Desk, Infrastructure and Desktop Support)
* Lead Information and Cyber Security across the Trust
* Provide a strategic and technical lead into trust-wide projects
* On-site role based at the Trust Headquarters as well as regularly working onsite across their schools in Burnley
The Person:
* Proven experience in IT Operations Management / a similar IT Leadership role, managing a budget and implementing IT strategy - Prince2 / ITIL qualifications desirable
* Proven experience in defining and leading IT Strategy in a multi-site organisation
* Experience in managing relationships with third party IT Suppliers, negotiating and managing contracts and monitoring service in relation to SLAs
* Understanding of CRM, CMS, ERP and general business systems
* Full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle
