Senior Mobile IT Technician with a broad knowledge of networking, support, infrastructure and ideally development is sought by a leading facilities management business based in the North West. With a 30-year history of delivering and supporting IT solutions for education this Senior Mobile IT Technician will be joining a growing team tasked with supporting a growing customer base both remotely and on-site. Due to the diverse nature of the projects this organisation take on this Senior Mobile IT Technician can expect a varied, interesting day to day with an internal training scheme to support further personal development in more specialist areas of IT (cloud, networking, support, infrastructure, telephonic solutions, cyber security, development etc). Due to multi-site nature of this role a driving licence and the ability to travel regularly across the Northwest is required but the company compensate with flexibility around working hours and a generous car allowance. This Senior Mobile IT Technician should have a basic understanding of a wide range of technologies such as: - Active Directory - Exposure to networking infrastructure technologies - Cisco, Meraki etc - Microsoft server experience - 2012,2016, 2019 - Server virtualisation - VMware, Hyper -V - Understanding of WAN and network concepts, including the ability to troubleshoot issues to determine root cause - Software application support experience - Exposure to remote desktop services - Office 365 exposure - OneDrive, teams, Exchange etc - Firewall management - Hardware installation experience - Any basic development to support an internal system would be really useful (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, angular) - Any experience working within education or multi-site environments would be really useful - Microsoft certifications This Senior Mobile IT Technician will receive: - Starting salary of between £50,000 - £55,000 DoE - Ability to work from home - Regular salary reviews with a clear promotion opportunities - Flexible working hours - Company car or allowance - 25 days holiday - Extensive training and paid certifications opportunities - Private pension scheme So if you are a Senior Mobile IT Technician who wants to join a collaborative, diverse and forward thinking company that can offer great project work and promotion opportunities then please click apply now to be considered and to find out more.
