Commercial Claims Handler - Burnley (Hybrid) - Up to £32,000

Are you an experienced Claims Technician looking for your next challenge? On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Commercial Claims Handler based in Burnley, offering a competitive salary of up to £32,000, with the flexibility of working one day a week from home.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service clients' claims, ensuring prompt handling and providing the best possible advice.
  • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, directors, corporate brokers, and account executives to secure the best settlement outcomes for clients.
  • Attend client meetings and meet with loss adjusters as required to discuss claims.
  • Log new claims, report to insurers, and keep clients updated on progress.
  • Produce accurate claims MI and chase insurers for updates.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures.


What Our Client Is Looking For:

  • Cert CII qualified or working towards it.
  • Strong technical knowledge of policy content and FCA compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and numeracy skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A reliable team player with excellent customer service skills.
