Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4? S mainstream secondary is seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher / Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic and supportive team.
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled MFL Teacher / Cover Supervisor to deliver high-quality language education in line with the national curriculum. You will be responsible for fostering a love of languages and cultural awareness among students while ensuring effective classroom management during cover sessions.
The role is to start ASAP and until the end of the academic year.
Pay rate: £110 - £200 (depends of experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:-
Deliver engaging and well-structured MFL lessons in accordance with the KS3 and KS4 national curriculum.

Teach French, Spanish, or German (depending on expertise and school needs).

Plan and deliver inspiring lessons that promote language acquisition, communication skills, and intercultural understanding.

Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support academic achievement.

Provide effective classroom management and supervision in the absence of regular teachers.

Maintain a positive learning environment and support student engagement.

Contribute to departmental planning, extra-curricular activities, and school events.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (for teaching role).

Experience teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and 4.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments.

Passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support students of varying abilities.
