Specialising in advocacy, divorce, and complex financial matters, this role provides the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact in a leading practice.The Role:
  • Managing a diverse caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangement disputes.
  • Handling Legal Aid cases, ensuring full compliance and effectively managing cases through CCMS.
  • Drafting legal documents, including consent orders, witness statements, and position statements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Representing clients in court hearings where required, conducting advocacy and working closely with barristers.
  • Providing clear, professional, and empathetic legal advice, guiding clients through complex and often sensitive matters.
  • Liaising with courts, barristers, expert witnesses, and external agencies, ensuring smooth case progression.
  • Collaborating within a supportive team environment, sharing knowledge and contributing to best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in family law, either as a paralegal or qualified solicitor, with a strong understanding of private and Legal Aid-funded cases.
  • Solid knowledge of Legal Aid regulations and experience managing cases through CCMS.
  • Excellent drafting skills, with the ability to prepare legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Strong advocacy abilities and confidence in representing clients at hearings.
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
