Pastoral Support Officer, Burnley

Are you a Behaviour/ Pastoral Specialist looking for a new challenge within an Alternative Provision School within Burnley?

Tradewind are currently working in a partnership within an Alternative Provision School within the Burnley area to recruit an experienced Pastoral Support Officer with strong behaviour management to start with them on a full-time basis from as soon as possible - July 2025 5 days a week with the chance of going permanent.

This Alternative Provision School caters for pupils aged 11 - 16-year-olds. You shall be required to work closely with pupils across all key stages.

As a Pastoral Support Officer you will be required to - * Deliver 1-2-1 * Work alongside the behavioural Manager * Home visits* Attendance * Pastoral

We are looking for: * Dedication to making a positive impact with all pupils. * Knowledge and understanding of working with pupils that have EHC Plans, ASC and Social and Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.

As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.

This Alternative Provision School is based in Burnley and is close to motorway links, additionally if you are travelling by public transport there is a bus stop outside the school.
