Job Title: Operations Director
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car allowance + Benefits
Location: Near Burnley, Lancashire
An Operations Director is required for a leading manufacturing business based near Burnley, Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Director to join a growing organisation and have responsibility for multiple manufacturing plants but with the majority of your time on this site. The business has a forward-thinking, board of directors and it requires an Operations Director to modernise the processes, systems, procedures and to help drive cultural change across the Manufacturing facility to help the site become a first class production site.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cultural Change - The business has a long-standing workforce and this role requires an individual who can engage with the employees to drive a really positive cultural change programme to help implement the improvements required.
- Driving key KPI’s including improving OEE, OTIF, Cost of Poor Quality and reducing lead times.
- Motivate and be a passionate people leader.
- Empower and drive accountability within all the departments within your remit.
- Strategically minded but still enjoys being involved Operationally with the shop floor.

- Experienced Operations Director who enjoys autonomy
- Experienced in leading teams within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment
- Examples of delivering against KPI’s to be outlined on your CV is essential
- Has seen what excellent looks like and wants to help drive a business forward
- Preferably from an Automotive or Aerospace manufacturing environment but open on background
