Burnley Are you an experienced Design Engineer with HVAC experience looking to work for a growing specialist in heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions operating in several different sectors?Do you want play an integral part of a well-established company in managing the whole process of designing for large projects in the North of England.As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of piping systems, air conditioning, pools and engineered packages for different scale projects whether working on swimming pools, Hotels, residential buildings or schools.
The Role:
- Carry out detailed design, calculations and project drawings
- Project planning, cost control and daily management of allocated projects
- Detailed design including design calculations, refrigeration system design and fabrication design and specification of components
- Creation, checking and approval of documentation, drawings, data sheets, work packs and user manuals etc
- Selection of equipment and checking compliance with relevant specifications and requirements
- Compiling Material Take Off spreadsheets for procurement of materials and components
- Liaising with clients both during and post project
The Person:
- Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering experience
- Essential CAD experience
- Knowledge of all components of HVAC systems
