Reactive Gas Engineer (Commercial + Domestic)

The Role

  • As a Reactive Gas Engineer, you will:
  • Service and repair gas systems and appliances in residential properties.
  • Inspect heating systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty components to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Conduct tests to detect gas leaks and maintain safety standards.
  • Provide clients with technical guidance on system maintenance and operation.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.

What You'll Need

  • Essential gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience using power tools.
  • Plumbing or carpentry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and safety protocols.
  • Ability to pass DBS and reference checks.
