Early Years Practitioner (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)

Location: Burnley BB11Start Date: 03/02/2025 (or ASAP)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant team. If you are an experienced and enthusiastic professional who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education for young children, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children within a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Be a role model to other staff and children, demonstrating excellent early years practice at all times.
  • Work closely with colleagues, contributing to team meetings, planning, and sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Use your creativity and initiative to motivate, inspire, and challenge children in their learning.
  • Maintain excellent communication with both children and colleagues, ensuring the best outcomes for children's development.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold a suitable early years' practitioner qualification (NNEB or equivalent).
  • Be an excellent early years practitioner, with the ability to model best practice.
  • Be approachable and have strong interpersonal skills, able to relate to both children and adults.
  • Listen actively and show respect for others' viewpoints.
  • Demonstrate honesty, openness, and a good sense of humour.
  • Inspire, support, motivate, and challenge others.
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time, term-time only (37 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year)
  • Monday to Friday, from 8:15am to 4:00pm (Wednesdays until 5:00pm).

Salary:Salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis, depending on qualifications and experience.

£24,404- £25,183 per annum
