Veritas Education is delighted to be supporting a specialist primary school in the recruitment of a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join their outstanding primary team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, flexible, and committed SEND Teacher to support pupils across a range of age groups who have diverse learning difficulties, including Autism, complex medical needs, and severe/moderate learning difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Teach and support pupils with a variety of SEND needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Work across the primary age range (2-11 years), adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of each pupil.
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to ensure all learners achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist staff, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for pupils.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage physical activity/movement throughout the day.
The Ideal SEND Teacher Will:

- Be an enthusiastic and flexible SEND Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education.- Have experience working with children with Autism, complex medical needs, and a range of learning difficulties.- Be passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils with SEND.- Have a secure understanding of safeguarding policies and be committed to the welfare of children.- Be able to adapt to the ever-changing demands of a school day with a cheerful and proactive approach.
