Reed Education/ The Lancashire Teaching Agency are currently looking for a KS1 Teacher starting in April 2025. The successful candidate will join a fantastic school across The Ribble Valley, where they will have the opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and dynamic early years environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for KS1 pupils.
  • Assess and monitor the development and progress of children, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive teaching team.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in KS1.
  • Proven experience as a KS1 Teacher, with a deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
