Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a flexible role?We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to cover release time for ECTs at a partner primary school in Burnley. This is a part-time position, requiring you to work one day per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality teaching to Year 2 students on a designated day each week
• Support and collaborate with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) by covering their release time
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all children reach their potential
• Work effectively with the wider school team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 2
• A passion for teaching and supporting young learners
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Available to start ASAP and commit to working one day per week until the end of the academic year
