Are you a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Burnley on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE).

Position: Year 5 Teacher (0.8 FTE)
  • Location: Burnley, Lancashire
  • Contract Type: Part-time (0.8 Full-Time Equivalent)
  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
  • Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love for learning.
  • Assess, track, and report on the progress of pupils, ensuring that individual learning needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all children.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with a nurturing and positive approach to behaviour.
  • A commitment to working collaboratively within a team and contributing to the wider school community.
  • A passion for inspiring young minds and supporting their academic and personal growth.
