The Lancashire Teaching Agency / Reed Education are seeking an experienced Teacher for a Year 2 class at a “Good” Primary School in Burnley. This role is a full-time position covering 5 days per week. The role is a temporary position covering a maternity, starting after Easter half-term 2025.
Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of teaching Year 2Â is essential for this position.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils•Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
