An opportunity has a risen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading Manufacturing organisation who are known worldwide. The Quality Inspector role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.

The Quality Inspector will be required to work the following Shift: Days Monday to Thursday 07.30am till 16.15pm & Friday 07.30am till 12.30 midday.

Key experience for the Quality Inspector:

  • Previous, proven experience within a Nuclear / Quality Inspectors role
  • Experienced within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 as well as ASME PED this would be at an advantage.
  • Strong background in technical understanding
  • Quality Engineering
  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is used to work within a heavy engineering environment.
  • Time served mechanical engineer.
  • At least 2-3 years experience within Quality control


Key Duties for the Quality Inspector:

  • Maintain all controlled document files and test records.
  • Perform Inspections of purchased parts.
  • Monitor Equipment & Instrumentation to ensure operation and calibration
  • Support the Writing and updating of inspection procedures
  • Attending meetings to provide reports and update with the general manager / Senior Quality engineer.
  • Work or reject subassemblies or finish products as required.
  • Be responsible for enforcing safety and quality on site.
