The Quality Inspector role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.

The Quality Inspector will be required to work the following Shift: Days Monday to Thursday 07.30am till 16.15pm & Friday 07.30am till 12.30 midday.

Key experience for the Quality Inspector:

Previous, proven experience within a Nuclear / Quality Inspectors role
Experienced within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO9001 as well as ASME PED this would be at an advantage.
Strong background in technical understanding
Quality Engineering
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is used to work within a heavy engineering environment.
Time served mechanical engineer.
At least 2-3 years experience within Quality control

Key Duties for the Quality Inspector:

Maintain all controlled document files and test records.
Perform Inspections of purchased parts.
Monitor Equipment & Instrumentation to ensure operation and calibration
Support the Writing and updating of inspection procedures
Attending meetings to provide reports and update with the general manager / Senior Quality engineer.
Work or reject subassemblies or finish products as required.
Be responsible for enforcing safety and quality on site.
