Portfolio Procurement is seeking an experienced Buyer for a global manufacturing business.
The position offers a salary of £48,700 along with excellent benefits such as healthcare, a strong pension, and a profit share scheme.
Candidates must possess CIPS Level 4 or above and have strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
Experience with IT systems, particularly SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems, is essential for this role.
The Buyer will be responsible for procuring goods and services, managing stock levels, and developing supplier partnerships.

You will need:

CIPS Level 4 or above (essential).
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.

The Role:

Procure goods, materials, and services across the business
Manage stock levels
Develop supplier partnerships
Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms
Oversee RFQs and RFPs Process
Track and evaluate supplier performance
