Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency and we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for our prestigious Manufacturing client in the Burnley area.

Salary

£30,000.00 - £42,000.00 DOE.
Personal & Company Bonus Structures.
Expenses & Mileage Paid.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 08:30 17:00.
Friday 08:30 early finish.

Requirements

Sales and business development experience.
Utilise the provided database to call prospective clients.
Build rapports & relationships with prospects.
Understand companys needs & requirements.
Engage with warm leads provided.
Be comfortable in meetings, both over the phone and face-to-face.
Be confident, with an exceptional telephone manner.
Develop strategies to win new business.
Focus on driving the company forward.
Create a sales pipeline.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Provide full transparency to clients, from order to delivery.
Communicate internally with the departments.
Present sales forecasts to the Directors.
Work under pressure and be able to meet KPIs.
Be willing to travel to other countries, stay in hotels and be on the road.

This role is suitable for an established Business Development Manager, who wants to maximise their earnings selling packaging for a manufacturing business both inside and outside of the UK. The right candidate will be sales focused, have the desire to push forward and wants to have a great team around them to elevate them to succeed.

You will need a proven track record in sales, manufacturing ideally although our client is open to different backgrounds too. You will be required to call through a provided database, get passed gatekeepers and speak to decision makers. Youll need to negotiate terms of business both over the phone & face to face and be willing to travel by road or by plane to attend meetings to close deals. Our client provides lucrative bonus structures and there is opportunities to progress within the business.

Even though this is a sales role, it is a soft sell, product training will be provided and the team will guide you every step of the way.
