£153.85 - £240 per day
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Maths Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour in the classroom.
- Support students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of education and support for students
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths to students from Key Stage 3 up to Key Stage 4
- Ability to manage and deescalate challenging behaviour.
- Understanding of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Experience of working with children from Key Stage 2 up to Key Stage 4
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
