An OFSTED 'Good' mainstream secondary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science ECT for a full-time, long-term role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The Role:
  • Start Date: After February Half Term
  • Teach engaging and interactive Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as required.
  • Develop your teaching skills with the support of an experienced and nurturing Science department.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students, fostering a love for Science.
  • Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress to support academic achievement.
The Ideal Science ECT Will:
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4 Science.
  • Be eager to develop and refine their teaching practice in a collaborative and supportive setting.
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to creating an engaging learning experience for all students.
  • Show excellent classroom management and a willingness to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
