We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant primary school in Burnley. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the education of our youngest learners, supporting the development of children in Key Stage 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to class teachers in delivering engaging lessons to children in KS1.
  • Lead small group interventions and one-to-one support for children with varying needs.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing lessons, ensuring they are tailored to individual learning styles.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Promote children's social and emotional development alongside academic progress.

Key Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent (Level 4 or above).
  • Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (KS1 experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to support children with a range of learning needs.
  • A passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
