About the Role:We are looking for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a dynamic team at a secondary school. In this role, you will work alongside teachers to provide academic support, assist with lesson delivery, and help maintain a positive classroom environment. You will be instrumental in supporting students' learning and development, including those with special educational needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with SEN.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching resources and classroom materials.
  • Help monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, supporting students in staying focused and engaged.
  • Support the teacher in classroom management and discipline.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with secondary school students, especially those with SEN, is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, patient, and positive approach to supporting students.
  • Ability to adapt and work flexibly across a range of subjects and year groups.
