Your new companyHays are currently working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' School in the Burnley area who are looking to secure a Teaching Assistant to work across KS3. This school provides opportunities for all of their pupils, and they are supported and challenged to achieve their best. This role is planned to start ASAP with the initial role being at least until Christmas, but this role does have the potential to be permanent for the right candidate.Your new roleIn your new role as a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with Class Teachers across KS3, supporting them with classroom preparation, lesson planning and behaviour management. You will also be required to provide day-to-day supervision and potentially give support to pupils with additional needs, supporting them with core subjects. You should possess good communication skills and be able to build up relationships quickly with both pupils and staff. There is currently a high demand for Teaching Assistants across the Burnley and surrounding areas, so do get in touch if you would like to know more or if you know someone who may be suitable, please point them in this direction.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
