Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey?We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and friendly school in Burnley. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching staff to deliver high-quality education, working closely with students to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, both in and out of the classroom.
- Provide targeted support to students, including those with additional needs, to help them progress academically and socially.
- Lead small groups or one-on-one sessions, under the direction of the class teacher.
- Contribute to planning and assessing student progress.
- Support the development of individualized learning plans and help monitor student achievement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and educational practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., HLTA status, Level 4 or equivalent).
- Experience of supporting children with additional needs would be advantageous.
