About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school team. In this role, you will support teachers in the delivery of lessons, assist students with their learning, and help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in education while working closely with students to support their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students with their learning activities.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional help.
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive, focused environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Support students in their academic work and encourage active participation.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A passion for working with young people and helping them succeed academically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support teachers in a classroom setting.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students' learning.
  • Previous experience working with young people, either in a classroom or other educational setting, is desirable but not essential.
