Milk Education are currently recruiting for Student Cover Supervisors for the 2024/2025 academic year in the Burnley area.
The Student Cover Supervisor positions commence in September 2024 and run throughout the school year.
This Student Cover Supervisor Position entails managing the classroom in the absence of the class teacher, all work will be set for you and you will have the support of the department where you are based to support you in your role.
Our schools will always look to have you covering subjects you are most comfortable with as this of course is mutually beneficial if you are covering a subject which you have a strong understanding of!
The pay for this role is between £100 - £120 per day
Milk Education are ideally looking for Student Cover Supervisors in the following subjects however all applicants will be considered based on skillset and experience:
Psychology
Criminology
Health and Social
Law
Sports Science
Sociology
Biomedical Science
Accountancy/A Maths based degree
English Literature/Language
What do you need for this Student Cover Supervisor role:
A DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply for one
Be able to provide your two most recent references
A proactive nature and a willingness to engage young people
Ideally be available three – five days a week however 2 days will be considered as we are conscious university timetables can change!
An understanding of the needs of young people and the issues facing them in 2024 – ie Challenges around social media, exploitation to CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation) and CCE (Child Criminal Exploitation, Knife Crime awareness etc.
