Pay Rate:£90 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic graduates to join our team as Cover Supervisors in Burnley. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and have experience working with children or young adults. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school environment, making it an excellent stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure that students remain on task and complete pre-set work.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour effectively.
- Support the school's ethos and policies, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding.
Requirements:
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce or willingness to apply for one.
- Ability to provide a full and up-to-date CV with professional reference details.
- Experience working with children or young adults in any setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
