Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a knowledgeable SEN Teaching Assistant for Reception class in a good primary school in Burnley. This SEN TA role is to start after half term and is required on an ongoing basis.

As a good primary school, standards and expectations are high. You will need excellent curriculum knowledge and clear communication skills. You will be working within a setting that caters for children with additional needs, particularly hearing impaired. As Reception TA, you will be responsible for leading groups of children, and working with individuals, on a wide range of learning activities. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of Phonics, how the letters and sounds are taught, and how to pronounce each accurately.

You must have prior experience with SEN in EYFS, either in a TA role or on placement. As Reception TA, your duties will also include making assessments, managing behaviour, preparing resources and establishing learning areas. All staff in the setting support children with SEN.

This Reception SEN TA role is full-time and has a daily pay rate of £85 to £100 depending on experience.
