SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a specialist SEN school in Burnley. This is a full-time role, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.

  • Assisting with personal care tasks as required.

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all pupils.

  • Working closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual learning plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.

  • Relevant qualifications in Childcare, Teaching Assistance, or SEN (preferred but not essential).

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate for working with children or willingness to apply for one.

  • Ability to provide professional references from previous employment or studies.
