SEMH Teacher - Burnley

Prospero Teaching is currently working with a SEMH Provision in Burnley that is looking for an experienced SEMH Teacher.

This school caters for secondary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school offers a variety of enriching educational opportunities for pupils including academic, functional and vocational skills.

This role will require compassion, empathy and resilience.

Roles and responsibilities:

Manage challenging behaviour positively and in line with the schools' ethos and procedures.Ensure lessons are planned to meet the needs of children.Ability to tailor your lessons to the needs of each studentMotivate, engage and inspire childrenA dedication to the safeguarding of young people.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCSE or equivalent, Level 2 English and Maths Qualifications (C or above)
