We’ve got a brilliant opportunity within Business Travel, working as a Business Travel Consultant for an independent travel management company who have a fantastic portfolio of clients!
Working within a small team of Business Travel Consultants, you’ll be booking the travel for a selection of corporate companies, ranging from individual travel through to large groups and events - even famous faces! This will include building travel arrangements from start to finish via the GDS system - you’ll be the type of person who loves taking responsibility for your own work.
You'll be booking flights, hotels, car hire, rail and much more for those travelling on business. This isn't booking holidays, it's focused on moving business travellers around the world instead.
Details of the Business Travel Consultant role:
- This is a Monday- Friday, full time position
- It’s office based for at least the first 6 months for training and getting to know the clients/systems then there may be some flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
- 20 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year up to a max of 25
- Annual bonuses subject to performance
- Basic salary in line with market rates.
- The opportunity to be involved in some fab work related trips away!
- Regular training and support given on many important subjects such as Diversity and Inclusion.
What experience do you need to apply?
- Ideally, you’ll have some Business Travel experience already but if you don’t, that’s ok! As long as you have some experience booking travel professionally, they are open to teaching you the rest.
- Group booking experience a huge plus!
- You’ll love working for a smaller company and the autonomy that brings when it comes to your work.
- Attention to detail is key for this role as is brilliant communication skills and a creative mind.
