Our client, who is a local housing provider, is seeking a qualified plumber to become an integral part of their team.

Responsibilities of Plumber:

  • Completing plumbing repairs at customers’ homes and empty properties.
  • Ordering materials and managing stock.
  • Ensuring all work orders are completed and minimise follow on work.
  • Prioritise workloads daily to deliver an excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring safe working practices in line with current Health & Safety policy & procedures.
  • Maintaining a professional manner whilst completing repairs.

Essential Criteria for Plumber:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ2 or equivalent in plumbing.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
  • Experience of working in the construction sector.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge in the workplace.
  • Willingness to carry out multiskilling in other trades.

Desirable Criteria for Plumber:

  • Social housing experience.
  • Working in a property maintenance environment.
  • Ability to use a PDA or electronic job system.

Salary: From £16.00 per hour DOE

Hours: Monday-Friday 36.25 hours per week
