Despatch Administrator - Dispatch Administrator - Manufacturing - Construction - Brownhills
Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available for a Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator in the Chasetown area on the Staffordshire / West Midlands boarder. This role is with a well established company that very much has a family feel to it.
As Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are despatched on time and within budget. Your duties will include:
- Preparing all despatch documentation
- Comparing haulier pricing and getting quotes
- Booking deliveries
- Obtaining estimated delivery times (ETA’s)
- Investigating complaints and raising claims with hauliers
- Some reception duties
- Creating a daily despatch manifest
- Other admin duties as required
- Ensuring all Health and Safety standards are adhered to
- Other duties as required.
To be suitable for this role of Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator you should previously have held a despatch / transport role ideally within a manufacturing company. You should also have strong IT skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The hours of work for this Despatch Administrator / Despatch Coordinator / Dispatch Administrator role are Mon - Thurs 8.45am - 5pm and Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm.
