I am working alongside a leading earthworks and remediation contractor. They are looking to onboard a site engineer to manage the engineering of an earthworks package being delivered in Birmingham. My client operate heavily across the West Midlands and neighbouring counties.
Site engineer responsibilities:
- Conducting daily site surveys.
- Producing and recording As-built surveys.
- Quality assurance.
- Maintaining machine control.
- Checking levels.
- Volume calculations.
- Liaising with the client.
- Reporting to project manager.
Site engineer requirements:
- RIght to work in the UK.
- CSCS card.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering or surveying.
- Proficient with Leica GPS/ total station surveying equipment.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Proficient with LSS or N4CE or Trimble business centre.
- Previous experience with bulk earthworks.
- Full UK driving licence.
